“Peace Painters” is a collaborative art jam for the youth to explore their visions through brush strokes and color. This mural style painting will bring our community together to co-create, share ideas and discover our artist way. Let the vision come to life!
Rainbow Lightning Youth Village co-creator, Franki Zinke, is back for her 5th year at Arise festival to celebrate all peoples creativity! Come find her Peace Painters collaborative mural jam, where kids, teens and the family can brush up on colors in this loving community of Rainbow Lights. You may also catch sight of a few of her hand-made creature costumes frolicking in the Rainbow Lightning kid’s parades. When she is not at festivals helping to co-create family friendly spaces, Franki works on her illustrations for children’s books, album art, graphics, paintings, murals, creature costumes and masks. Through an art project movement called @ArtoftheAnimal , Franki Z. hopes to give voice to the animal people and our beloved planet- “We are all connected, one family, and we must stand up for each other. Art speaks in all languages, so lets us spread a message of peace, positive change, and a healing vibration.”
