A band in the truest sense of the word, Meadow Mountain is a whole larger than the sum of its parts. Born of a group of best friends picking tunes and studying music together, camaraderie and a shared passion for the tradition of American folk music remain the central pillars of the band. Based out of Denver, Meadow Mountain fully embraces their progressive Colorado sound while at the same time drawing heavily on the hard driving traditional Bluegrass of the South. The band melds influences from Punch Brothers to Jr. Sisk and Rambler’s Choice creating their own distinct brand of acoustic string music that has garnered attention from Bluegrass fans across the country and helped them to win the RockyGrass Band Contest in 2017. Their debut album, produced by Chris Pandolfi, was released on November 2nd 2018 on the Infamous Stringdusters’ label, Tape Time Records. Meadow Mountain is Summers Baker- guitar, Jack Dunlevie- mandolin, Sam Armstrong-Zickefoose- banjo, Ian Parker- fiddle, and Wilson Luallen- bass.
