The dream was born in 2015 when Rob Stark “Guitar and Vocals” packed his bags and left Indianapolis for the Atlanta music scene. While playing around the city and attending shows, Rob heard about the Atlanta Institute of Music. In the winter of 2016 he attended his first quarter, half way through the year Rob met Daniel Hodsdon “Bass Guitar and Band Motivator”. Daniel had moved from Florida to attend the school right out of High School. He soon found himself a jazz nut playing in countless bands in the scene. Daniel’s first roommate Dylan Porper “Keys and Vocals” had been attending AIMM as well. Dylan and Rob met in a music business class, where they realized they both loved Umphreys Mcgee. The first time they hung out outside of school Dylan took Rob to the Tabernacle for an Umphreys Mcgee double header.
Jeremy Todd also an AIMM student joined Hum Ripple in 2018. Jeremy is a joy to work with, he brings the grooves for Hum Ripple, as well as playing drums on Carter Herrings records.
Hum Ripple is just released another single and video, and are currently working on there first EP.
