TOKE is a life philosophy. TOKE is not only the name of a genius Hip-Hop artist from FoCO, it is an entire brand. The difficulty comes when trying to define TOKE in any means that you will understand. First, TOKE is proud to be from Colorado. Colorado has been a leader in the United States in many ways, attracting a culture of people that are undeniably similar. Colorado gifted TOKE with a certain upbringing and perception of the world that has allowed him to create his life’s work in the form of music. This is just the beginning for him, too. He is evolving as he experiences different events and different crowds. TOKE finds much of his inspiration for music in nature and his son, Gaius. His lyrics seem to come out of nowhere, or possibly they come from everywhere. He can relate to anyone; the deep thinker, the confident leader, the cynic, the logical, the humorous, the sarcastic and the intellectual.

TOKE was raised around many different genres of music including jazz, r&b, soul, blues, classical, funk, psychedelic/classic rock, heavy metal, alternative, electronic, and hip-hop/rap. TOKE has many inspirations including Al Green, Pink Floyd, The Gap Band, Bone Thugs N Harmony, A Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang Clan, 2 Pac, Moody Blues and Paul Oakenfold. When TOKE was 15, he felt destined to pursue music and embrace it fully into his lifestyle. He began recording and released his first underground rap solo project at the age of 16. In 2016, TOKE met his mentor and the founder of Pangea Music, Germoney. Germoney came to the US all the way from Germany to pursue his dream in hip-hop and expand the Pangea Music Globe. He added Colorado to the list by recruiting TOKE to the Pangea Music conglomerate. TOKE has shared the stage with many hip-hop legends such as Berner, Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Devin The Dude, Brotha Lynch Hung, R.A. The Rugged Man, Jarren Benton, Krizz Kaliko, Rittz, Snow Tha Product, Kutt Calhoun and Ugly God.

It is hard to give a comparison of TOKE’s music using other artists. His voice is too unique. The lyrics are catchy, edgy, provocative and relevant. Laced with powerful trap/electro hip-hop beats, you can feel the Colorado vibe through each song and may even be tempted to visit, “The New Amsterdam”.

TOKE is actively performing live at shows and festivals. He is prepared to travel the entire world to share his view from a musical standpoint. He recently released his second #TOKE420EP digitally, world-wide, making the projects available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Shazam, Deezer, Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, and other online music distributors.

TOKE is releasing his 3rd #TOKE420EP on April 20, 2017, as is TOKE Tradition. This album is not to be missed. He has unveiled one song from the #TOKE420EP album at the Ugly God show at the Aggie in FoCO, and the crowd was totally in! The flow of the new album shows a side of TOKE that will make you bump that bass through your bones. TOKE has been a musician as long as he has breathed Colorado air. In elementary school, he would picture himself performing on stage in front of fans. Connecting with his fans means so much to TOKE. He is looking to inspire free-thinking, attract other talented artists, spread positive vibes to the whole earth and express himself. TOKE has a stage presence that elevates.
