With the release of their mantra rock concept album, Rise, Sukha pioneered their unique form of rock music inspired by kundalini mantras and the rise of the kundalini energy. Sukha is husband and wife team, Sukhmani and Sukhman. They perform extensively for workshops, classes and festivals. Sukha is often a part of Sukhmani’s many kundalini classes she teaches in Los Angeles and beyond. Sukha formed officially in 2011, however, they have been playing together in many different musical settings since 1998. Often accompanied by eclectic instruments and world-class musicians in the genre, their music, consisting of gurmukhi and sanskrit chants and English lyrics, has not only helped countless listeners enjoy and embrace mantra and meditation, but have earned high acclaim from music critics and yoga figures. Sukha was on the Grammy® Ballot for Best New Age Album of The Year for 2016. Sukha exists to help people fall in love with the power and magic of mantra. Check out their Soundcloud page here!

““I can attest that this band lives up to its name…I have heard Humee Hum a number of times, but not like this. The music reminded me of something Suzanne Vega would offer. It is poignant, sincere and full of angst… Sukha is not afraid to take on melodic challenges to justify their position…their novel approach encourages me to learn more” RJ Lannan – ZMR Radio
